What the MMAIATEX hazardous-area guide update includes

MMAIATEX published the following three resources today. Their public URLs, topics and evidence boundaries were checked after publication.

Why these three subjects belong together

The EU machinery and ATEX guide does not say that Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 already applies in full on September 1, 2026. It records the general application date of January 20, 2027 and keeps ATEX as a separate scope question. The article links to the current consolidated legal texts and European Commission guidance.

The Division 1 and Zone 1 guide does not provide an area-classification conversion or approve equipment for a US installation. It uses current OSHA definitions and rules to explain why the adopted classification system, gas group, temperature class, protection technique and approval evidence must be read together.

The limit-switch FAQ does not certify a catalog image or recommend an exact model. Its 12 questions help a buyer collect the mechanical, electrical, environmental and documentation inputs that the responsible project team must assess.

The public MMAIATEX About page states that ATEX, IECEx and CCC certification work is in progress. Buyers should request current exact-model documentation and verify the certificate holder, model, issue, status, scope, marking, standards, conditions and instructions through the applicable official source before specification or purchase.
