MMAIATEX parallel-option guides: keep each option intact
Consider a hypothetical quotation offering two alternatives for the same requested control function. Option A and Option B are presented as mutually exclusive choices, each with its own identified arrangement. This is an editorial example, not a description of available MMAIATEX models or an actual customer transaction.
The comparison can go wrong even when both options are clearly named. A reviewer copies A's material statement, B's resistance entry and B's connection description into one preferred-specification column. The column now looks complete, but it no longer describes either option as offered. Naming it preferred does not establish that the combined arrangement exists.
Keep the two alternatives visible throughout the comparison. If a field is unresolved for A, leave that field unresolved for A; an answer associated with B cannot automatically fill it. The purpose is to preserve what is actually being compared, not to give either option a passing or failing score.
Use the new resources where a copied field changes meaning
The RoHS versus ATEX material-declaration guide helps readers identify the subject of a material statement. In the example, check whether the statement expressly covers A, B or both. A statement about one identified material or part should not become a declaration about an unmentioned combination.
The contact resistance versus insulation resistance guide keeps the electrical question, path and qualifiers attached to a resistance entry. Moving a figure into a shared column must not detach it from the configuration it describes. Nor should a common unit be used to hide a change from a conducting-path question to an insulating-separation question.
The screw versus spring terminal FAQs distinguish clamping technology from conductor-handling features. A connection feature named for B is not automatically an option on A. If the comparison requires that different combination, it needs an explicit response rather than an assumption created by the spreadsheet.
Catch the unoffered third configuration
This short table is an original editorial checking aid, not a company form or a technical acceptance procedure.
| Comparison action | What can be lost | Better record |
|---|---|---|
| Copy A's material claim into a shared preferred column | The claim's identified subject | Keep its stated coverage beside A, B or both |
| Select B's resistance entry without its conditions | The measured path and configuration | Retain the complete entry with B |
| Add B's connection feature to A's reference | The distinction between offered alternatives | Record a question about a new combination |
| Mark every filled cell as confirmed | The difference between a supplier statement and a buyer preference | Label preferences separately from offered facts |
The resulting comparison may contain two complete alternatives, two incomplete alternatives or one of each. None of these outcomes authorizes a hybrid arrangement. The important improvement is that the record no longer conceals which option a statement actually describes.
Shared evidence is allowed when its coverage is clear
This approach does not demand a different certificate or separate file for every column. A genuine document may expressly cover both alternatives. Preserve that common coverage when supported, including its conditions; duplicating the attachment does not create extra assurance.
Likewise, a supplier may subsequently identify a third arrangement in response to the enquiry. That would be a separately described proposal requiring its own review, not proof that the original cross-copied column was already valid. The buyer should not assemble or substitute parts to make the imagined proposal real.
The listed control boxes and controllers provide catalogue references for naming the product family involved. Their presence does not establish that the hypothetical alternatives, their features or a combined option are offered.
What this update confirms
All three linked guides are publicly available in Industry Insights, Technical Knowledge and FAQs. Each retains its dated source review and limitations. This Company News article adds a parallel-options reading example rather than repeating those technical explanations. It does not announce a new quotation-review service, internal approval process, customer project or performance result.
Current MMAIATEX certification status
The current MMAIATEX About page describes ATEX, IECEx and CCC certification as in progress. This is an attributed website statement, not independent certificate verification. MMAIATEX Explosion-proof Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. does not present this publication or its photograph as approval of either hypothetical configuration.
Safety and legal disclaimer
This update supports purchasing interpretation, not electrical design, assembly, testing, substitution or legal approval. Competent responsible parties must assess the exact proposed equipment and current applicable documentation. Do not modify equipment to reproduce a preferred combination from a comparison table.
